The Asim Frames app ("the App") is operated by Asim Boubi ("Asim Frames", "we", "us", "our"), a photography studio based in Kamen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect the details you provide:

• Username – your display name
• Email address – for authentication and account recovery
• First and last name – if you choose to add them
• Phone number – optional, for booking enquiries
• Postal address – country, city, postal code and street, if you choose to add them
• Profile picture – an image you optionally upload

2.2 Messages & Content You Share

When you use the in-app chat to contact the studio, we process:

• Messages you send and receive
• Attachments – photos or files you choose to send

2.3 Technical Information

To keep your session secure and deliver messages, our service providers process a unique account identifier and basic connection data (such as IP address and timestamps) needed to operate the service.

2.4 Information We Do Not Collect

• Location or GPS data
• Your device contacts, call logs or SMS
• Advertising identifiers
• Analytics, behavioural tracking or telemetry

We use the following providers to operate the App. They process data only to deliver these features on our behalf:

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Your data is shared only:

• With the studio – messages and enquiries you send reach Asim Frames
• With service providers – Appwrite and Stream, as described above
• Where required by law – if compelled by valid legal process

6. Data Retention

• Account data – retained until you delete your account
• Messages and attachments – retained while your account is active
• Booking enquiries – retained for as long as needed to respond and for our records

7. Data Security

• All communication with our backend is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
• Authentication is managed by Appwrite using industry-standard practices
• Access to your data is restricted to what is needed to operate the App

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access – request a copy of your personal data
• Correction – request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion – request deletion of your account and associated data
• Portability – receive your data in a portable format
• Restriction & objection – restrict or object to certain processing
• Withdraw consent – where processing is based on consent

You can update your details at any time on the Profile screen, and you can request deletion of your account by contacting hello@asimframes.com.

For EU/EEA/UK Residents (GDPR)

We process your data on the following legal bases:

• Contract performance – to provide the App and its features
• Legitimate interests – to keep the service secure and respond to enquiries
• Consent – for optional details you choose to provide

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at hello@asimframes.com and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
